Barrel Top Trunks > Pictures

Barrel top trunks are simply softly rounded topped trunks. We have seen them in collections from the very small to extremely large pieces with brass nailing patterns that have varied as much as the size of the trunks. Some had contrasting leather ovals on their lids, some had engraved medallions, some simply had the owners initials or name burned into the leather. We've even seen pieces that had ovals of quilted fabric applied to the top of the trunk.

These reproduction pieces can be purchased individually, and just beautiful in a grouping. Each piece has hand-dyed vegetable tanned leather. Contrasting leather ovals and quilted ovals are available. We will also personalize the Trunk with your name or initials, nailed or burned or on a medallion. The 1700's hand-made locks can be placed in any of the sizes.

The Lord & Lady designs are elegantly lined with our rich brocade fabric or your fabric that compliments your personal decor, trimmed with complimenting braid, and richly ornamented with petite brass nails.
